Last week, the Speechmatics team took part in some fun activities in aid of our charity of the year, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust. The team raised money carving pumpkins for Halloween and enjoying an early finish on Friday with a themed bonfire night including beer, toasted marshmallows and sparklers. We are excited to announce that the team raised a total of £159.35 which will go towards our annual target for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT). Take a look at some of the photos from our pumpkin carving and winter bonfire BBQ below.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to support such a wonderful local charity as Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and even better to be able to do it whilst at work! “We had a great time pumpkin carving last week and the early finish on Friday to toast marshmallows on the BBQ enjoying a beer was a great end to a fantastic week. It’s great to have Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust as our charity of the year, and we’re all very excited for the fundraising activities that we have planned for the rest of the year. Stay tuned to see us in action at our Rowathon later this month!”

ACT is a fantastic charity that is dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals. Speechmatics is delighted to be supporting such a great cause this year. Want to hear more about the work we’re doing with Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust?
