Speechmatics expands to new global HQ in Cambridge Science Park

Speechmatics has relocated its global HQ to the Cambridge Science Park, a center for innovation, science, education and entrepreneurialism.

Speechmatics, the UK leader in any-context speech recognition technology, has relocated its global HQ to the Cambridge Science Park, a center for innovation, science, education and entrepreneurialism.

Committed to maintaining its links with the city, the move allows Speechmatics to operate as a global company while remaining at the heart of the Cambridge technology community. The company’s phenomenal growth to date has seen its workforce double in the past 12 months, open offices in Brno (Czech Republic) Chennai (India) and Denver (USA) and secure additional investment from AlbionVC and IQ Capital.

Helen Joyce, VP People and Talent at Speechmatics, commented:

“Our rapid growth is a testament to the immense talent of our employees. Speechmatics has always been dedicated to innovation, both short- and long-term, as well as being focused on enabling our ambitious teams to develop and implement their ideas. We are fortunate to have our new HQ in Cambridge which is a natural hub to attract the best talent to join the Speechmatics team.”
