Speech technology wins first place at Cambridge Independent’s Entrepreneurial Science Technology Awards

Speechmatics has won the race to best AI scale-up in Cambridge at the Cambridge Independent Entrepreneurial Science Technology Awards 2017. The award recognizes the rapid growth of the company over the last 6 months and the quality of the technology itself. Speechmatics has doubled in size in the last year with the ambition of growing at a faster rate over the coming year.

With a focus on offering great technology, Speechmatics were awarded the title for developing highly accurate, automatic speech recognition technology in 29 languages with the ability to provide it in the cloud, privately (on-premises) and with a POC for embedded fully on a device. Speechmatics will help push the boundaries of what is possible with speech recognition technology and fulfil its vision of powering a speech-enabled future.
